In the conference, Pichai said “In two weeks we are launching the first developer SDK for Android.” "That will lay out the vision for developers in how we see this market working."

He also said that one of the major aims is to take Android beyond smart-phones and tablet markets to a multi-screen world. He is very much impressed with the evolution of wearable devices to the smart-phone revolution as it takes the industry to the next level.

The new operating system is based on the Google Now voice assistant and search feature that will drive the core functions of its Google Glass headwear. However, the sales of smart-watches have not been as impressive as it expected, and the market is estimated to be worth $19 billion by 2018, as per the Juniper Research.

Google’s Upcoming Plan- Android TV

Google is going to launch a renewed assault on your television set, known as Android TV, according to documents received by The Verge. There are many video app providers developing for this platform as it sounds like a semantic difference. Google TV based on Android, but has some different functionality. Android TV is a crazy attempt to turn your TV into a bigger, more powerful smart device. Google says, "Android TV is an entertainment interface, not a computing platform. It’s all about finding and enjoying content with the least amount of friction." It will be "cinematic, fun, fluid, and fast."

It simply means that Android TV will seem like the rest of the setup boxes available in the market like Amazon’s Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku. The latest version of Google is less ambitious and easier to understand. Moreover, developers are called by the company for creating simple TV apps for an extremely simple set-top-box interface.

Users can also use a remote control with a four-way directional pad for scrolling left and right through various suggestions, up and down via different categories of content, each with their own shelves. Just like other setup box, this one also has a small movie poster or book cover, and you will pick the one you want. Enter, Home, and Back buttons are added in the controller that helps to get around, and there will be "optional" game controllers.

Voice input and notifications are support in Android TV, though Google is also encouraging developers to utilize only notifications in very limited cases. Overall, Android TV is one of the best products that seem like Amazon's just-released, Android-based Fire TV. If you want to know more about Android TV, then stay tuned with us. The all new OWA application Android is following last year’s launch of OWA for the iPhone and iPad. It means Android users have gain the earlier access to new exchange features such as the slew that Microsoft declared at this week’s Exchange conference. It is one such application that provides contact, email, calendar features for Office 365 subscribers.

Microsoft wrote on its Office blog on Monday “We know that nearly half of emails are now first seen on the phone. So it's clear that phone is becoming the primary screen for communications… On iPhone and iPad, we released the OWA app last year. And today we announced that we will be releasing the OWA app for Android as our latest step in that journey.”

Among all the new features of OWA, Office 365 is codenamed Clutter as it promises to divide essential email from variety of junk that frequently fill inboxes. Office 365 (codenamed as Clutter) is uses Microsoft’s machine learning methods in order to look for indicators that unveil the meaning of some email messages or senders.

Microsoft said “For example, if you completely ignored Juan's email about his recent vacation pictures, that message was likely unimportant to you – ie, clutter.  On the other hand, if you both read and responded to Cathy's email about her new budget proposal, that message was likely important to you – ie, not clutter.”

Moreover, the all new Clutter feature will push crucial email to the top and drop all those email to the footer that is less interesting. Users of this application are also allowed to tag clutter items as non-clutter if they are selecting it so that similar items doesn’t get tangential in future. Further, they are also able to delete all clutter emails in a single click.

The application is integrated for tightly with OneDrive for Business that enables users to share files between Microsoft’s cloud storage and the OWA app as an email attachment. However, the company is also polishing up group collaboration that support real-time co-authoring on Office Online docs that are stored in OneDrive.

Microsoft said “Both Outlook Web App and Yammer show the same conversations for the same groups. This means however you prefer to work – whether you live only in email, only in Yammer, or both — you can participate in the group. We're creating a collaboration tool that will allow everyone in your organization to work more closely together, in their preferred manner.”

Is Apple Making an iTunes App for Android - Really?

According to some reports, it comes to know that the Apple could launch an iTunes application for Android devices. Before, there was no inkling of a thought in the presence of Steve Jobs, but the things are completely change under the Tim Cook command.

Some new reports are declaring that Apple might launch an iTunes application for Android in order to combat ailing digital music downloads. In past couple of years, it seems that the Apple’s revenue from iTunes music sales have been reducing and the company is looking forward to open its music store up to Android devices in order to help in increasing income.

Moreover, Apple is also looking to transform iTunes into a more modern service so that the company can boost the income. As the company said to be in the examining stages of generating a subscription-based model to rival the likes of spotify and Google Play Music.

In any case, if Apple launches an iTunes application for Android users, it may attract lots of new customers, who are using Android devices and the Google Play store to buy their desired music.

We all know that all the Android users have access to the Google Play Music service as well as Amazon’s digital music store, therefore if Apple introduces a new music store for them; it is not necessarily guarantee million of new users. Moreover, the company is also looking forward to launch a paid music subscription service to opponent the likes of Pandora, Google Play Music and Spotify.

According to three people, who are familiar with the talks, said “Apple has “opened investigative talks” with senior music label executives about a potential on-demand streaming service”.

We all know that in the US, the company already providing a free, ad-supported radio service that known as iTunes Radio, but it makes the mass music money from the single and album sales through iTunes.

Moreover, Apple associates to around 40% of the US music revenue, and the company is hoping that such big effort on music labels can bring huge effect on its business.

"They are feeling out some people at labels on thoughts about transitioning its customers from iTunes proper to a streaming service," saidone major label source. "So when you buy a song for $1.29, and you put it in your library, iTunes might send an e-mail pointing out that for a total of, say, $8 a month you can access that song plus all the music in the iTunes store. It's all in the 'what if' stage." Still, there is no official announcement from the company, so all the android users can wait till the company uncover the reality.

Motorola has not announced the price of the Moto 360 smartwatch, although, we are thankful to the premium steel case that encloses the watch and inclusion of leather and steel bands. It is expected that the cost of Moto 360 is higher or equivalent to, its smartphones. If we are looking at the LG G Watch design, we find that it created with more plastic and glass rather than metal in its body.

Rumor also says that Motorola us to using sapphire for the Moto 360 watch’s face, as opposed to cheap things like Corning Inc’s Gorilla Glass. It is rumored that Motorola releases its smartwatch with only one band that allows customers to select their style at the approximate cost of $329 and up. The Moto 360 will not transmit through metallic materials that is why, Motorola selected plastic. Furthermore, solar or self-winding chargers could be used by Motorola to supplement wireless charging in the Moto 360, and thus, increasing in amount of battery life. Let’s wait and see what Motorola brings for its users in Smartwatch.
