Google Declares About Its Smart Content Lenses That Measure Glucose Levels In Tears

From last couple of years, wearable technology or devices are buzzing in the market as various companies are looking to made something very exceptional. However, Google has taken wearable technology to a new level by announcing its smart content lenses that can measure glucose levels in tears.

The company declared its plan to make contact lens that won’t be used to deliver your email directly to your skull; however, this project is all about to undertake one of the major health problems that lots of people are facing worldwide- diabetes. One of the biggest tech Giants ‘Google’ uses its official blog to declare its news about contact lens that mainly focusing for medical applications.

However, this small and tiny wearable technology device has wireless chip and sensor wedged between two pieces of normal lens material. Currently, samples are undergoing testing that whether these lenses are able to obtain measurements at a rate of one reading per second or not. Moreover, Google also forecasts being able to embed LEDs into these lenses in order to be watchful the wearer, if measurement of glucose hit very low or high level.

Being true smart contact lenses, most of the people will surely go a long way off, and for that reason various people demoted to a Google x project. Still, lots of people love to see such wearable devices that can be used in day-to-day life without any hassle.
