Paranoid Android Team launches Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta, Fixing Various Bugs

We all know that in the beginning of this month, the Paranoid Android team has introduced Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 1 that comes with lots of exclusive features. One of the new features that introduced is Dynamic System Bars, a new gesture for the hover feature and lots of bug fixes.


Now, the team releases Paranoid Android 4.6 beta 2 that doesn’t bring any new features, but it improves DSB and bring bug fixes. To improve the overall use of the ROM, the team brings the update, fixing various bugs.

Many of you all may don’t have information on the beta 1 that comes with dynamic system bars that means the navigation and status bars. However, in the beta 2, the team claims to clean up the DSB animations and decreasing screen polling. The team also came to know about the DSB that it has room for enhancement, particularly for older and lower-end devices.

In beta 2, there are some bug fixes and other improvements like enhancements to general graphical performance, updated OPO drivers, a fix, which accurately updates the lock screen tracking info and more.

Changes That Have been Made in PA 4.1 Beta 2:
  • Clean up DSB animations
  • Reduce DSB screen polling
  • Correctly update the lock screen track information
  • Improve the general graphical performance
  • Update the OPO drivers and add other minor improvements
  • Follow CM's changes for TE
  • Add USB OTG support for Flo (Nexus 7 - 2013)
