Guide - Installation Steps of Android Lollipop

Android Lollipop puts its first step in the market and most of us are looking to install in our android device. If you are one of them, who want to install the latest version of Android OS then here are steps.

Step 1: firstly, you have to download the minimal 2MB installer from XDA that includes the Android ADB and fastboot tools. Now, you have to install download stuff in the Android L image. It is one of the quickest ways to install the tools without downloading the whole Android SDK.

Step 2: In the next step, you have to download particular file for your device, i.e. Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. After that, you need a utility like 7-zip that helps you to extract the files from the .tgz archive. Users have to unzip the files twice as they will find a .tar file inside the .tgz file. Further, extract the file to the same folder as the Minimal ADB and Fastboot that is c:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot. After extract, you will find a list of files according to image given below.

Step 3: Reach to the Settings section and scroll down to About phone at the bottom. After that, you have to scroll down to number and have to tap it for 7 times. The developer options are unhided by this that aren’t display in Android 4.2 and later. Enable USB debugging in the Developer options menu.

Step 4: Now, Download the Google USB driver and extract the zip file.

Step 5: In this step, you have to connect Nexus via USB and powered on and now, you have to go to the Control Panel and click Devices and Printers. Now, you will see your device in the list. You will see ‘MTP’ under Multimedia devices, now, Right-click on it and choose properties.

Further, click on the Hardware tab and choose the Nexus 5 in the list, and click Properties. It’s time to update the driver that points Windows to the folder, where you have extracted the Google USB driver. Once it’s done, it should report the device as Android Composite ADB interface. Moreover, you should also get a prompt on your device’s screen by asking “Allow USB debugging?” and ‘Always’ allow from this computer and tap OK.

Step 6: After that, you have to power off your device and leave connected to your computer’s USB port. Now, you have to start it by using perfect key combination to put it in “fastboot” mode.

If you have the Nexus 5, then you have to hold down the volume up, volume down and power buttons simultaneously and Press power and volume down on the Nexus 7. You will see screen like given below. Otherwise, it would be great to leave your device on and type adb reboot-bootloader to restart in fastboot mode.

Step 7: Type ‘fastboot oem unlock’ at the command prompt without the quotes if the LOCK STATE says locked, and then press Enter. You will see the screen just like image given below. Now, you have to use the volume rocker to change from no to yes and to select the option, press the power button. This thing will delete your device so ensure to back up first.

Step 8: In this step, you have to install the Android L firmware with the bootloader unlocked. For that, you have to simply type flash-all and procedure will start. Alternating, you will also see downloading, writing, and erasing on your device’s screen

Step 9: lastly, you have to lock the bootloader again for security and start device in fastboot mode by referring Step 6 and then, type fastboot oem lock. If you want to revert to the previous version, then download the correct version of Android KitKat.

Step 10: After that, you have to extract it as in Step 2 given above. Now, you have to delete the Android L files from the c:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder before copying the extracted files. Such files you have to remove.

Lastly, Repeat Step 6 to 8 to get a box fresh Nexus 5 (or 7).

These are simple 10 steps that you should follow to get Android Lollipop in your Nexus device. Do you have any problem in updating the latest version then ask our experts. For more information updating Android Lollipop, keep visiting our blog.

Samsung’s most advanced and boldest device ‘Galaxy Note 4’considered as a great piece of technology that will revolutionize the world. Comes with an excellent and brand new aluminum frame, the device gives an extremely wonderful look and feel.

The best part of this device is new QHD screen from which you can’t take your eyes off. Moreover, it also backed up by a new processor and more memory. In order to make it easy for you to start, we have gathered top and exclusive things about the Galaxy Note 4 that you should know.

No matter whether you are thinking to purchase one or just have curiosity to know this device, you can read out this post:

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Made Up From Metal –

The all new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a metal frame that made up from aluminum and magnesium and cover-up the entire outside of the device. Giving the device an enhanced rigidity as the chamfered edges is definitely more flat to scratching compare to the hard plastic ones of previous versions, but they look stunning.

The Screen

Undeniably, the device offers 1440*2560 resolution screen, which is completely amazing. Being the highest resolutions phone, it really gives a beautiful look as it is an AMOLED and very bright & colorful. Well, it is true that it trade accuracy for a bit, but for a phone, it is an excellent choice.

The only problem I noticed is that it is slow-to-respond ambient light sensor persist. We all know that a higher resolution device gives a huge impact on two areas of a smart-phone as it puts a strain on the processor and boosts the battery drain.

Removable Back Plate To Add an SDcard

We already discussed that the device’s big portion is built from metal, but the back plate is still plastic and can be removed as you and love from earlier Samsung phones. It allows you to have access over the Micro SIM, removable battery, MicroSD card and more. The device’s SD card slot accepts card-up to 128GB in size in any case if the 32GB internal storage is not enough.

Software Features To Help You in Handling Vast Size

In spite of being a touch narrower than the Note 3, the all new Galaxy Note 4 is still a really big phone. The phone has 5.7-inch display that comes in very least people’s hands, but the company has included a few software features in order to help you out.

Users can easily turn on the features under the one-handed operation area of the settings and decrease the size of whole screen so that they can make it one-handed for use.

They can decrease the size of options to slide the keyboard and lock screen over the one or other side. Apart from this, you can also turn on a Side key panel, offering an access to the Home, Back and Recents buttons in soft keys on the side of the device.

Complete Security

Now, we should be thankful to the company for taking security on its devices seriously. You can find a lot of features in the device that help you to keep your data safe and secure. The company owns Knox enables you to keep work and personal applications apart.

It means if there is any malware on your personal handset, you should keep it away from your work files. Along with it, there is also a standard Android feature of device encryption that means if your phone stolen, the files on it are not readable by third party.

The S Pen is Extremely Powerful For People, Who Needs To Write

Considerably, the company has not changes the S Pen coming from the Note 3, but the S Pen has been ridged now to make it simple to grip and it has a single button. From all the points, it is the software that has seen lots of enhancements.

However, the air command is quite same, but all the applications that have been launched into like Action Memo. S Note has received design refreshes and small usability enhancements. As a widget, action memo notes can be easily saved to your home screen, and S Note is extremely cleaner and a lot easier to navigate.

Panorama Selfies For a Wide-Angle Shot –

We all know that now-a-days, people love to click selfies, and if you are also one such type of person, you can enjoy click some best selfies for you with Note 4. Galaxy Note 4 comes with 3.7 front-facing camera that takes good yet quality pictures, but one of the best and new features is “panorama selfie” mode that allows users to take a super wide-angle shot.

You just need to switch to the front-facing camera and have to turn on the panorama selfie mode. For once, you just have to press the shutter key and sweep back and onward the software will stitch together the pictures and give you a single and wide-angle shot to fit in extra amount of background.

So, these are the top and exclusive things about Galaxy Note 4 that you should know. In short, if you are an android lover, it is your kind of device that gives you an incredible experience.
