What Android Gives, Windows Phone 8 Not To Its Users

Choosing Windows Phone 8 instead of Android for your personal use is one of the most audacious decisions you have made. There are many people ditching android for Windows Phone as they don’t have idea what Android gives them  and Windows Phone 8 not. Creating a list, here we have collected some features that you can’t find in Windows device.

Control Toggles
Android devices has toggle between different states for fixed software and hardware features through dedicated widgets or panels while Windows Phone 8 users have to go through Settings menu to adjust settings.

Timely App Releases
Google Play Store has an uncountable number of applications and games while Windows Phone 8 users don’t get many options as compare to android. Moreover, there are almost free amazing application can be found at Google Play store while Windows Apps are paid.

File Manager
With file managers, users can easily move or delete social networking apps without connecting to internet. However, in windows device, it cannot be managed without connecting the smartphone to a computer

Notifications Center
Android devices have capability to manage their notifications from different applications and games at single place whereas Windows Phone 8 provides this functionality through toasts and live tiles. However, it is much difficult for notification to identify the source of one at times. We also heard that Microsoft is working on a notification center and soon, we find improvement in it.

Browser Sync
The best thing about Android is it allows Google Chrome app to sync with its desktop counterpart to get maximum browsing experience. It allows managing bookmarks, passwords and tabs onto smartphone easily. If we are talking about Windows Phone 8, its Internet Explorer browser doesn’t provide eye-catchy features. It only delivers basic browsing experience like improving the browsing security, save passwords locally and managing tabs and so on.

Fully Customized Options
If you are looking at Nokia Lumia 920 device, you will find low-quality speakers that doesn’t customized like Android as Windows Phone 8 doesn't permit users to set individual notification sounds according to their requirements. Even, users will find Twitter alert sound as same as Facebook alert sound. The worst thing is Windows Phone doesn’t allow you to set individual sound levels, for notifications, apps and multimedia content.

LED Notification Light
Most of Android device comes with an LED notification light feature that starts flashing in various colors whenever there is a new notification and users don’t have to continuously check their device for particular emails and messages as through color of light they got idea. On other side, Windows Phone 8 handsets have an LED notification light, but it only lights when smartphone’s battery getting low or the charging is complete.

Extensive Browser Sharing Options
Different Android devices integrate with the browser's fixed sharing menu that allows users to send links to read-it-later type of apps while in Windows Phone 8 device, one can only share/send ink to another through device, via messages, emails, social networks or Xbox.

Closing Thoughts:
After looking at difference, we found Android delivers much remarkable functionality than Windows. So, for first time users, it is bit difficult to adopt Windows as their personal device.
