Unlock Your Motorola With 'Digital Tattoos'

New passcode alternative- temporary tattoos are searched by Motorola to unlock phones easily. Now, Moto X owners in the US can easily purchase digital tattoos that allow you to unlock phones without typing in a PIN, announced by Motorola on July 22, 2014.

This idea was introduced by Motorola at last year's D11 conference, however, it is the first time, we have seen actual product on that concept. NFC technology is used in this tattoo that was created by VivaLnk and Google's Advanced Technology and Projects group and it is thin and flexible enough to wear on your skin.

Motorola named as digital tattoos, but they actually look like stickers that are worn on your skin. Adhesive is used to stick these tattoos to your skin and can be peeled off any time you want.

According to Motorola, these waterproof NFC tattoos are of nickel size and designed to last for about five days. If you want to unlock the device instantly, you just have to tap the digital tattoo to the back of your Moto X. See the closer look of tattoo in below image:

Talking about NFC, it stands for Near Field Communications, which is a technology that helps you to share content or achieve certain tasks on your phone with a simple touch to your phone against the sensor.

Previously, NFC created into Android phones like Moto X and Samsung Galaxy S5. Users can also share pictures with another NFC-enabled phone by tapping just two phones together continuous. Users can purchase a pack of 10 tattoos for $9.99.
